One of my favorite times of the year, at Christmas, but not for the reasons you might think. These are the gifts, get together with family, midnight mass, and so many other reasons - but one of my favorites is how people light up their houses in such wonderful ways. Such a house was Santa Claus with his reindeer on the roof of her house, and Frosty in the front yard. But what I was most reverence, with alternating red and green lights, sidewalk, to mySurprise it turned out that none other than solar yard lights!
Themed Lighting
Then I began to think of myself, and I remembered seeing you this Halloween house, and that the lights were orange and purple. The more I thought about it the more I remembered seeing the lights of the current theme holiday. Red, white and blue for Forth of July. Green for St. Patrick's Day and even red and pink for Valentines. I had noticed a subtle and alwayssmiled as I passed - but until now I had not understood how they worked.
Judy, the owner, saw me staring at the lights and came outside to see what I was doing. We exchanged greetings and I explained that I had not noticed the solar panels on the front lights, and I was sure that the lights they have cost a small fortune to have that new technologies are not secure. Judy laughed and said that I would be surprised how little they paid for, and yeteven more surprised at how easy they install.
Evening BBQ
Judy explained that she had just bought some more solar garden lights for the backyard to place their new deck, so they invite the people you can for cool grill, garden parties and whatever. Then invited me asked if I would like to help her install them. Although they said they were easy to install, I was a little hesitant, and she noticed that myPause before answering them. She took my hand and enthusiastically shouted: "Come on, I promise it'll be fun. In addition, I have not yet, to give you a Christmas card!"
We walked through the garage, picked up her packets of garden lighting kits, and we went to the terrace. I congratulated them on the finished project to see that she and her husband there recently, and then we'll get to work. Boy, Judy was right - the lights were put into the ground rather easily, andwithout cover up any electrical wiring as patio lights, the device was faster than I had expected.
Quick Installation
Judy said she would have to pay the solar panels before, and that we worked under floodlights to help the yard lights charge even more. We put soft white bulbs in them, and Judy asked me to take a seat on the porch. Once I had taken a position, turned to Judy from the floodlights and thePatio lights sprang into action. The mood was instantly changed to comfort and casual, and I could not believe I have helped them just a few minutes before installing!
Judy and I have been quite a while on a variety issues, but the solar yard lights never left my mind. They had such an impression on me that as soon as I could, rushed out and bought my own. Now Judy and I have the most beautiful homes on the block, lit by a few simple garden.
